My Review of The Elephant Man

The Elephant Man was the best inspirational film that by just watching the sad life story of some remarkable man, any personal problems were forgotten. Many times I unconsciously complain about small conflicts of my daily life but truth is other people live with bigger problems and are still happier living in poverty and with nothing. The film was great not because of the actors or action but because of the way it captured your heart, by seeing the true beauty of John Merrick beyond his physical appearance. In the beginning the mystery of  who was the Elephant Man made me feel captivated and throughout the entire film my eyes were glue to the screen not knowing what would happen next. Although the ending was sad the good thing was that he died happy after enjoying a bit of life and on his own terms with friends. The overall message showed that all you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and to finally appreciate your blessings like friends and family.
